In his theory of organizational change Kurt Lewin suggests change is ongoing and managing it is a continual process. She then went on to receive her Masters of Science in Dance/Movement Therapy from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY. Throughout her time as a mental health professional she has worked in different facilities such as schools, nursing homes, a residential facility and currently works on an inpatient psychiatric unit in a Brooklyn hospital. Oosaseun fully believes in the mind-body connection and utilizes all art modalities specifically dance to aid in the uncovering of emotions, thoughts and patterns individuals wish to overcome in order to grow. As an African in America, Oosaseun is adamant about serving people of color and provide services to the community. Oosaseun’s emphasis and work is deeply rooted in recognizing how culture and community impact ones interpersonal as well as intrapersonal growth and development mentally, spiritually and emotionally. Through her studies and observations Oosaseun believes the communities of color can benefit from connecting to their indigenous practices.
